Default 2 step for 94 lt1

So I did a "search" here and Google and really didn't find the info i need. I want to know if it is possible to install a 2 step system in the 94 camaro's and if it is worth it. I have seen some sick **** with the 2 step

Not sure if it's the two step but I would think to be able and press the gas peddle pushed completely down and keep rpm at your desired limit would help be more consistent. Not saying this is true , I never ran a 2 step just thinking it.

Absolutely.
MSD 6AL2 is what you want. It has two stages of rev limiters, one for burnouts/launches and the other for overall rev control.

I plan on running the programmable 6AL2, which has 3 stages. One for burnout, one for launching on the trans brake and one for overall protection. It also pulls timing instantly when the nitrous is turned on.

No it would work for anything from automatic hondas to manual vipers.

Their is no reason not to have a multiple stag rev limiter. You can't get more consistent.

I have a 2 step, it doesn't make the car faster but it does make it much easier to be consistent and easier when dialing in suspension. You will need a 6AL box, Digital 6, or the new 6AL2. It's activated by a momentary switch or button and when activated changes the ignition rpm limit. When power is supplied it's activated when it's not the normal rpm rev limit is used. I have a momentary button on my shifter that activated the line lock and 2 step. The + for the 2 step from the button has an inline toggle switch. This is so I can turn it off for the burnout and then on for the staging bulbs. My process goes like this: into water box 2 step toggle off, set brake, push button and do burnout, let off button and roll out of the box, 2 step toggle on and into t he pre stage beam, lightly set brakes and push button, use gas and clutch to bump into stage beam, once opponent has staged gas to the floor, 2 step holds rpm to whatever I have it set at, simultaneously release button and clutch to launch!

Strongly considering hooking up the 2-step on my Digital 6. Hoping it will help solve some consistency issues while launching.

No it just controls the coil and lets you set the retard in the digital 6.
