I think there a a few 7sec cars that will be out this year. Im betting Z8s does it first though! His ride is finally ready!

It's a race between Sikora and Destito. Both have the power to do it. Stefan's car is dialed in though, he just has an exhaust valve issue, last I heard. Sikora's car hasn't been down the track yet as far as I know.

Rick's LT1 was more than capable, when I talk to Erik at HKE that car comes up in conversation often and how close it was. That 8.08 pass was not on full boost, the car lost the thrust bearing, took it to spring break shoot out and it was having issues with the glide. It's the same story now as it was back then, it's not a question of can it be done, just who is willing to get it done.

Thanks. I knew it was the same car I was just wondering about any of the others that were mentioned. So is Ricks car still running or is it down? I haven't been following this stuff lately.

I've seen Stefan's car and I don't believe it's tube chassis. It had a healthy cage in it, but it's setup for 275 tire classes.

I think Stefan's car is the only LT1 I have ever heard of in a 275 class. Bad *** for sure!

He still has the chassis but that's about it. I remember back when that car was a street car, 383 on gas running 10s.
