I ran KDW's for near 3 years and have zero complaints about them, put about 12k on them. Perfect wear, great tracking, and excellent traction in the rain. The tread design is great for water deflection. Even at the strip they would hook great at 25psi. (though I believe the track I run at is well prepped).
I would defiantly purchase another set.

I run KDWs on all of our LP640s. Have yet to find a longer lasting tire for that application. They are also very resistant to pothole damage (sidewall bubbles). You can probably find something that lasts longer if you don't need a 335 rear though and the road force balancer isn't really impressed with them.

Well aren't those summer tires? My questions is how would they perform in California during winter times? I know it does not snow, but I heard once they get cold enough, it has a problem with getting grip and get like hockey pucks lol. I want to avoid any crashing if thats the case with summer tires.

I personally run Toyo T1R, they grip any condition i have put it thru. Running 285-19's and anything from the heavy rain in the northwest to taking it to the track, these tires are the best i have ever had on any car. Just my .02

California doesn't have a winter, unless you live in the mountains. The LP we kept here in NJ for the winter did fine on the KDWs with ignorant retard drivers and well below freezing temperatures. FWIW, Pirelli is the only manufacturer that feels a need to warn people about cold temperatures with their tires.

Are they all season tires and how much were they?

I do not know if there all season but they grip like a ****** anytime i put the hammer down. They are Les Shwab tires specifically so u cant get them anywhere else. I have seen some road race guys in GMHTP use them and i can see why. They take a few miles to warm up on a cold morning like 5 miles. I paid 295 for the 285-35-19 rear and 200 for the 245-40-ZR18. One of the best tires around. Do yourself a favor look up Toyo Proxes T1R!

I run the ZE-512 (275/40ZR17), I have no illusions that it is a great tire, but it is very stable even if I loose traction and it isn't a death trap in the rain. I have ran them since 2005. For the price you really can't beat them. I think they are perfect for a stock or nearly stock hp car. With my current setup I can lay into the pedal in second and light them up. They will wear a little faster than other all season tires and they make more noise than others. When I really need the traction I have a set of M/T's.

Now I am going 18s by 9.5 all around so I can rotate them. My question is what is the biggest size I can go without having trouble rotating them or rubbing under the fenders?

I have 295/35/18, ZO6 wheels on mine. Have to grind out the wheel wells, do some triming in certain spots. They will rub, touch...this has been driving me insane for a while now.

So 275s 35 18s will be fine all around without rubbing or having to grind out the wheel wells?
