Default Headers installed - car wont start

'93 TA, auto, 100k mi, CAI and Flowmaster sotl only other mods

I installed Mac mids and allflow cat yesterday. Also replaced plugs and wires. 4k mi on CMS opti. Car started and ran fine yesterday before the install. I buttoned everything up this morning and tried the test start and nothing...

Gauges work, fuel pump primes, fans turn on but the starter is dead silent. I looked and made sure no wires weren't touching anything...

Any suggestions? I have all day today to mess with it but need it running tomorrow

TIA

Did you take the starter off when you did the headers?

Yes unbolted starter but let it hang by the wires - what should I check? Theyre tight and not touching anything

Trace the wires and see if one lost connection like the ground wire? Do you have a voltometer to see if power is making it to the starter?

I say this because years ago when I pulled the tranny in my old 95. My wire ground broke loose and it took me 1/2 a day to figure it out!

HUNG BY THE WIRES!!?? That's not a good thing to do. There could be internal damage to the wiring in the starter or you could have created a open in one of the wires that bolt to the starter or solenoid.

Starter's fried. Most likely a combination of being 20yrs old and my wrenching on it/letting it hang by the wires... on the way home with the new one now
