Default 3rd gear only high rpm vibration
Recently I've noticed a vibration at 3k+ rpm in third gear only. Every other gear is fine all the way to redline. The vibration feels like its coming from the front of the vehicle. Which should rule out a driveshaft or tire balancing and stuff like that. The car is a 1996 Trans Am WS6. It is bone stock. Ive searched but couldnt find a definitive answer. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

same thing is happening to mine..check the little weights on the wheels. I hope to find an answer myself mine does it only after 75+ mph

mines is not speed related. its strictly an RPM occurance. at high speeds there is no vibration except under high rpm pulls in 3rd gear.
