Default Which ewp to purchase?

Any pros or cons from which ewp to purchase? Meziere or CSR, will be little street use, but mainly track use..

I like the CSR because it's smaller than the Meziere, so it takes up less space in the engine bay and doesn't require trimming or cutting of the fan shroud.

Good luck getting your hands on one right now, they are on back order. A few companies out there might have 1 or 2 laying around, it took me calling 5 places to track one down yesterday.

I did a few CSR's and had to trim a little for them. I had both CSR & Meziere on my ImpSS. The Meziere was quieter and the car ran cooler. Both were the HD pumps. The CSR smoked itself (stunk up the garage for 2 weeks). It didn't last long. About 2k miles. Had about 2500miles on Mez before I tore the motor down, was still going strong. But many friends have had no issues from their CSRs

I had a CSR on the car, shaft seal failed and coolant smoked the electric motor. Since they were on back order I bought a jegs, its a decent pump but you have to trim for it. I have a mesiere on my spare motor, definitely the best built of all of them.

I have the Summit brand ewp. It's been on my car for 3 years now. No issues other than trimming the fan shroud a little bit.

I have a CSR and I don't like the sound it makes when I shut off the car and it winds to a stop. Sounds rickety.

I think I have a CSR with less than 500 miles on it if you cant find one to buy. I took it off after deciding I liked the stock just fine. Just cant remember for sure if it was CSR or meizer.... pm me if you are interested

Hmm, I have never heard this noise before on my pump. If I turn the key on, and am inside the car I can hear it run, but have since day 1. I just figured it was normal.

Fitment was no issue for me on the B-body, and I wanted as much flow as possible for occasional open track use, so I went with the higher flow Meziere. Totally happy with it.
