Well im finally going to pull the trigger on the AI cam kit. Just wondering what else i should get with it. I see it doesn't have a timing chain so i'll pick one of them up if need be. Do I need larger injectors or will stock be fine? Also which cam would you guys suggest. I want the biggest one possible with stock heads and bottem end. Was thinking of the 226/234 grind they offer.
Any part suggestions or advice would be nice!
thanks

That cam should run good for stock heads. Give them a call and they point u in the right direction. The stock injectors should be plenty. I would pick up a new oil pump drive also. Since u got intake may as well change it. Make sure u got good exhaust, intake, proper gear and stall if auto.

Ive got their 226/234 kit. bought it thinkin it would be perfect for cam only, then I got a killer deal on some LE2 heads
shoulda went a tad bigger owell. cant give you any feedback though cause half way through the project I fugged my back up bad and dont trust other people(round here) to work on it... been sitting 3yrs now
I have a 2nd back surgery lined up in late april so hopefully I'll be able to get under the hood late summer.
the 226/234 has made some nice #'s for people though! my only complaint is that I already had springs, locks, retainers, locators so I had those removed from the kit...kit shows up and theres no PR length checking tool, just push rods! I called them up about it and they said it was fine that the PR's were matched for my application
rrrrrright how the hell could they know?
