Default Thinking about upgrading from the hotcam...

Current Engine Mods:
- Stock 63k mi bottom end LT1
- Manley 2.0 intake/1.60 exhaust valves, Crane 10308-1 spring kit,
- GMPP Hotcam
- GMPP 1.6 ratio aluminum roller rockers
- Comp Cams hardened pushrods
- Cloyes double roller timing chain
- Hypertech 160 deg t-stat
- CSI electric water pump
- March 25% underdrive pulley
- 1LE a/c delete pulley
- Lucas/Delphi 42 lbs / hr injectors
- Walbro 255 lph fuel pump
- MSD Blaster Coil, new MSD opti cap/rotor
- Taylor Spiro Pro 8mm wires, NGK TR55 plugs
-(Flowed 249 intake/162 exhaust, 11:1 compression) Heads milled .010, .026" gaskets

I'm wanting to go with a bigger cam that is still good for driving on the streets. The car is a m6 and also has a Moser 12 bolt rear with 4:10 gears.

Would a 232/240 .592/.592 112 LSA custom grind work for me?

Will the GMPP 1.6 rockers support .592 lift? Will a cam only upgrade be worth the effort for the HP gained over the hotcam? Might be better off going with a H/C from AI or similar.

I would not be using SELF ALIGNING rockers with lift values that exceed 565 lift....

I would also recommend stepping up to 7/16 studs, guide plates, hardened pushrods and 1.6(7/16) nsa rockers along with a custom cam from LE or AI

Go with a H/C set-up. Otherwise you will be in the same boat six months from now wishing you would have just spent the money from the get go.

Who did your valves? Stock valves are 1.94 intake and 1.5 exhaust. You can't fit bigger valves properly without head work.
