LT1 coolant crossover tube back of heads

just use the rubber ones, they are easy enough to find.napa part# 730-2922,$7 for all 4. its the same exact seals but they call them oil cooler seals or whatever. if you dont have a napa near you then ask to see a few a/c system seals at autozone or advance, if you must go to the dealer, then as for part # 10108689, i payed $8 each for them last time.ouch,my butt

Crossover pipe upgrade
Hey everyone
I know this has probably been discussed many many times. I have been thinking about performing this crossover pipe modification with the an fittings. Are there any downsides to this modification? I actually have a brand new steam pipe set up that I bought a while back. I hear the an fitting modification is better though. Anyone have experience with the an fitting modification? Also how will I know to stop tightening the an fittings into the head? They have a tapered thread, and I rarely work with tapered threads.
Thank you!!
