Hey guy i need some headers that are atleast 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8ths.

What are my options?

I know of Kooks and the LPP's which are not available anymore. Are there any others? kooks are a little pricey in my opinion.

None that i found with the search. only about a cheap set of longtubes like pacesetter or the ebay ones.

I'm looking for bigger headers those are all 1 5/8ths or 1 3/4. I need atleast

You're not going to find any that are available right now other than Kooks.

Those are the classic "eBay" headers that there are so many threads about. They are basically LPP knock offs. If you try ordering from jdmcenter.com, they will cancel your order a few days later because they don't have those anywhere now. There is another option, OBX makes a very nice copy of the kooks version with 3.5" collectors. But....they are sold out everywhere right now for the nest month or two. I'm sure if you wait, you may be able to find some used ones. I think that edelbrock made some for a while too.

 

ARH or texas speed?

 

Okay guys the OBX headers are not stepped they are 1 3/4. that's what they told me when i contacted them.

American racing doesn't make LT1 headers from what i can find. Texas speed only has the Hooker headers, pacesetter, and stainless works. and they are all 1 3/4 from what i can tell.

any idea when LPP will be making headers for Lt1's again?

 

OBX are stepped 1 3/4 to 1 7/8ths with 3 1/2in collectors pretty good copy of the kooks They are on back order for atleast 30 to 60 days So if you need em before thats look at kooks or maybe hooker super comps both twice the price though Theres pictures in the OBX headers thread on here lol

Kinda weird that when i contacted them two weeks ago they told me they dont make a set of stepped headers. only 1 3/4

 

They are most definetly stepped. I have a set in my basement I have been oogleing about for a while now haha

 

What are you running that is needing a 1 7/8 header??

What are the OBX headers selling for new?

 

Some of us got them for $331 shipped. Will have to see what they sell for when they get back in stock.

 

******* LoL I was 2 damn days late gettin em!!! My build is a 396 ltx 12 to 1 compression Dart Pro 1 200cc ported heads 24x/25x .6xx HR cam & 2 stages of nitrous I need the OBX style for a 3.5in Ypipe into my 4in mufflex exhaust with 3in duals out the rear Thats why I NEED a big headers LoL

For a 4th gen??? Betcha a dollar theyre out unless its not a 4th gen LoL Unless youve found some site I dont know of!!!
