Mine had around 190xxx before i shut her down. Stock opti, and zero problems untill i had to go around messing **** up.

Never had her on the track or dyno though. But ive beaten a bunch of cars that are supposed to have similar performance numbers. 4th gen mustang GT's, an older m3, charger/challenger RT's and even kept up with a srt8 challenger decently. I was stock with CAI and exhaust.

My Black 93 Z28 currently has 189k and still runs like a champ (sounds pretty healthy too for a stock exhaust, lol). From what I can tell it's all original except for the AC compressor and maybe the opti. It's almost sad that I'm about to rip its heart out and drop an LS in its place.

You kind of answered your own question.. there isn't any way for anyone to tell you otherwise. If it runs strong and has no issues, ride it till the wheels fall off bro. The only way to find out if the motor's been swapped is to investigate yourself.

My 93z has about 175k on the body and ran like a top before I built the motor. Zero issues man.. it ran better and was faster than cars with half the mileage. The body is mint too, verrrrry little rust. Love the lt1's man, they will be so good to you if you just take care of them and don't beat the **** out of em 24/7. My Roadmaster's also got about 170k on it and runs like brand new.

I have 170K on mine and still beat the **** out of it. Almost ready for a cam swap.

I have never been to the track or dyno though

I know my motor is original but my T56 has been replaced.

I love a good 4th gear pull in my car

My first 3rd gen had spun the clock 3 times (300k original engine). It burned some oil and needed valvesprings but it took daily beatings no problem. I can't see why an LT1 would be any different.

This is not a 70s engine with a piece of **** carb washing the cylinders down with raw fuel, causing enough wear to measure with a ruler.
If you open it up at 185K you will still find crosshatch on the cylinder walls.

Mine had 225K when the radiator exploded and took out the bearings. Ran 13.8 @ 100 mph and a 2.0 60 foot in stock form.

I had a 94 with 170k on it and it ran like new. My current one has 101k on the clock and the way it runs the only thing that's going to cause me tear into it is my own ambition. Take care of them and they'll run forever. My dad sold his LT1 caprice with 275k on the clock and the thing still ran mint.

Mine only has 144k on it, and I dont see it lasting long enough to see 180k. I wish it would because that'd give me time to build something better, but this car must have been abused pretty badly by previous owners.

226k and still driving it. I bought it used so I assume it's the original motor. Still runs good, doesn't like to be run cold though. The suspension is falling apart on this car before the motor is.
