Default To spray or not to spray???

Ok first of all im sorry I dont have any pics yet but I need some advice. I have had a friend of mine building my 95 z28 for a while now. So far the list consist of: stock 86k mile bottom end, cc306 cam, comp lifters, trickflow pushrods, trickflow 21 degree 185cc heads, trickflow 30# injectors, trickflow 1.5 & 1.6 rockers, ported intake manifold, 58mm throttle body, K&N cold air intake, mid length headers, Y pipe, flowmaster american thunder catback, cat delete, smog delete, granatelli fuel pump, torque arm, lower control arms, panhard bar, lca relocation brackets, tunercat tune, and I think thats it for now. My question is he has a complete plate kit for my car and he also has a dry kit as well and we are debating on installing one of them. What do you guys think? If I do either of them im leaning more toward the wet kit and only spraying 100 shot but I dont want to tear anything up. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, and also what do you think as far as horsepower before the nitrous?

That sounds like a complete failure of a build.

So yes, I would spray. You'll need a 100 shot to keep up with a good running heads / cam car.

I am going to go with the ZEX wet kit...it has been on the shelf in garage for 4 years now. I will be spraying a 100 shot, i feel safer with a wet kit.

Yeah I figured there would be some jackass to make a smart comment on here, I was only asking for some advice on nitrous. But if you have nothing better to do then that's fine. Maybe there is someone on here that will give some real advice to a new f-body owner. I mean that's what forums are for right?

I am giving you advice. Change your parts selection while you still have the chance.

You would not be utilizing the cam to its full potential (or anywhere near it) with the RPM's you would want to safely spin on a stock short block. I would take gregrob's advice man.

but to answer your question, go with a wet shot. You can still blow it up if you are not careful and take necessary precautions. Good luck with your build

That list of parts says practically nothing about what hp it will put out. Your friend's experience/competence will be the biggest factor. Somewhere between 325 and 400 rwhp I'd expect.
For a small shot like you're planning, I'd go with the wet kit. Simpler and less chance of a fatal error. Your fuel supply will be the most important part. If you don't dyno tune with a wideband, make sure you put a pressure gauge on it and watch it while you're spraying. I have no idea if that Granatelli pump is any good.

I'm pretty sure granatelli pump is a walboro. I just put one in my car and it seems to be working great.

It already has a pressure gauge installed as well. I have alot of faith in the mechanic he has done very well with numerous cars.

I agree with Gregbob, You may want to change those pistons before you finalize the build. Better to have it all done up correctly before things go..Boom.

If you are doing a build as stated you should really think about making that bottom end as durable as possible.. there is absolutely NO reason to have NON performance pistons in a build that has performance written all over it......

I do plan to build a bottom end and do a swap later down the road but I have already spent all I can spend right now. And besides its already together. I am currently looking for a block to build up a little here and there as money allows.

Spray a 100 wet shot. Plate or nozzle, either will work well. Good nitrous tune, good ignition, strong fuel pump and cooler plugs.

I also forgot to say that it does have a msd coil and summit ignition box as well.
