Im running jet hot long tubes, 3 inch y pipe, no cat, and 3 inch magnaflow catback. Out of all my exhaust setups at idle this is the deepest most thundering one. A slp loud mouth wont be as deep, it will basically be straight pipes, a step in the wrong direction for "deep" sounding. I ran one for awhile (2 weeks) with pacesetters and no cat, hated it.

I run Pacesetters to 3in X system with electric cutouts and 40 flow masters. Car sounds good when closed, but open the cut outs and the car sounds mean. Can't really even hear it inside the car with the radio on.

LM1 sounds like total crap with headers (loud and a very annoying, not deep, tone).

LM2 I can't comment on.

I have Pacesetter LTs, high flow cats, and a Hooker cat-back and love it! Nice, deep, smooth tone that is moderately loud. I've never had someone not like it and I highly recommend it.

+1 for Hooker catback. Deep mellow sound when low on the throttle and highway cruising, no drone at highway speeds, speaks up when you punch it. I get compliments from everyone on the sound.

My true duals with bullets and x pipe sound better than most catback exhausts I hear, doesn't drone on the highway at all and flows awesome.

I really liked my Hooker Aerochamber muffler on my LT1, Nice smooth, clean tone. This video doesn't really do it justice because I was barely revving. But I did have a cutout for when I wanted it LOUD!
