slp 3pt SFC idea...
slp 3pt SFC idea... I just picked up some 3pt sfc's and a ds loop for my 94 Z 
Maybe it's because I work on euro-trash all day but I'm curious if anyone has ever fashioned up some protective under shields along with these? I'm thinking if I cut out some thin gauge steel to the same size as the OD of them and use the same mounting points it wouldnt look like crap. I would think it would help keep rocks/mud/general crap off the bottom of the car and possible improve aerodynamics? Any thoughts on this?

Alot of work for not much gain. Putting sheet metal under the car would protect the underbody but what's down there to protect? Are you going off-roading with your f-body? 
Not to mention it'd probably collect more road debris above it.
Aerodynamics won't be improved - just keep the front air dam on. That's all the aerodynamics you'd need.

lol, yeah I just took the idea from the BMW's that have fully covered undercarriages. I do feel that keeping the rain and road grime off the brake lines and floor pans would be an advantage tho. Maybe not so much for aerodynamics....
As much as I try, sometimes you cant help but drive through some road construction or gravel roads. I also think it couldnt hurt the resale value either. If I was looking at a camaro and someone covered the underside of it I would have to be impressed.
