adapting stainless braided to stock rails
i have ordered a fuel cell from summi6t but it wont be here until after the 1st of april. i was going to go ahead and run my lines/ filter/fittings so all i had to do was drop in the cell, but i cant seem to figure out how i am supposed to attach the hose to the fuel rail on a stock 94 LT1 out of a pontiac firebird. has anyone done this that wouldnt mind sending me some info. i would like to run flex stainless throughout so as to not have to do any bending and such to tuck the gas lines in my frame rails. anyone know any cons about doing this??? could it cause any problems for my not using any hardling ??
thanks in advance

street and performance (www.hotrodlane.cc) sells adapters that connect to the fuel rail, and turn into a -6an fitting for f-body fuel rails. they also bring the lines to the passenger side.
I just finished running 6AN braided lines on my 1996 Z-28. I used the fittings from Pure Choice Motorsports and hooked onto the hard lines under the car. I used thier fitings on the hard lines under the car and also on the fuel rail. It worked out really well. I routed the lines through the original location under the car and then through the fender well. There is a plastic shield piece for the factory fuel lines that I had to modify by cutting part of it off but where they turn from under the car to the inside of the fender well, I used the 90 degree portion to hold the lines as they bent. It is a tight fit but it worked out good. I then used hose fasteners to attach the lines to the inner fender and then drilled two holes side by side in the top of the inner fender below the master cylinder and used rubber gromets to run the line through the firewall. It looks good, it almost looks stock. I don't know about running the line all the way back, I suppose you could remove the stock hard lines and route the braided the same way. If you have any more questions, email me and I will try to help.
