Christian don't be that way. It's all good spirited, you should see the 'in house' bickering that goes on.

Just having fun here dude. Gotta loosen up if your gonna hang around here Plus you can return the favor to another noob down the road. Most here are either a comedian or a douschebag and on occasion, both.

FTR, the only significant thing that is common between LS1 and LT1, are lifters. Thats about it.

lmao k well I just installed the ls1 cam into my buddies lt1. Didn't fit right away so we took a grinder and hammer to the cam opening and then sprayed some wd40 in there. then we secured it with some duct tape. I lost my timing chain so I had to make due with this old rusty bike chain that came off my mountain bike

That's the spirit, the LS1 has a larger cam core size so this could be very interesting.

Duct tape will correct most fitment issues. But a high speed grinder and some JB weld maybe in order. LOL good luck and welcome to the mix.

yeah I put the cam on a map relative to my location and used a protractor, then went at it with a dremel and a chisel.

Actually I'm just using one ford head and one head of a b18c1 honda.
Hoping the dohc side will mix well with the combo. Took a couple valve springs out of the ford side to make some room for my LED's.

I heard that if you use one Chrysler hemi head and one windsor head it is ideal , especiallywith the LS1 cam. But then again all this bench racing is unproven as of yet.

Did you convert to AWD and throw in a semi style long shifter in it?
