fast ? the g2/Lou Gigliotti performance Intake is it worth any thing or is it about the same as stock?

Better than stock? Yes.

Better than every other CAI? No. Most CAIs do the same exact thing. The G2 piece has been around forever and performs just as well as everything else.

Yep. If you can stand the horrendously gay "G2" on the intake then go for it.

I have one of these "gay" intakes

The biggest difference in it and the K&N is the filter assembly itself...the K&N has a cone filter and block off plate to keep engine heat out...the G2 just utilizes the stock intake box and recommends you cut the plastic off one side to expose the whole air filter...or you do what I did and make your own cone filter setup. I used some Specter 4" tubing and one of their big cone filters. I would say K&N is better unless you add a cone filter.
