OBD2 LT1 to LSX OBD?
Is it possible to use a LSX computer on a LT1. I have a 97 LT1 and this tuning is driving me nuts. I have no one in the area to chat with if I have questions and it looks like LT1's are getting hard and hard to find info on. I have LT1 Edit and there is really no guides for that software that are very in depth. And I am using autotap for data scanner. My LTFT are -1.6-0 for both sides. And I believe that is trying to add a little fuel. And I am getting bad MPG 14 or so and it isnt that big of a cam I didnt think anyways 224/230 supercharger grind.

The price looks intimidating but if you build your own harness it can be easily done for around a grand or less. Then you sell all your stock parts and the price is even cheaper aslong as they are working. Do the math... it aint that bad and the gains so far have been awesome! Do some researching on some threads about it.

I had tha same problem, but I went backwards tech wise, I put an OBD1 computer in my 97 then used datamaster and tunercats.
What I hated, in my local area, is noone wants to even mess with an LT1 on the dyno, past just dynoing it. My best option in area is to drive (or haul) over 100 miles to Tulsa to have Ed Wright do it.

What gains are there when going to 24X? Aside from the obvious opti deletion...

Yes that is what I do, I didn't mean to give the impression that I don't do it. I just can't find any dyno guys that tune LSXs all day long to mess with mine.

Yeah I figured out is is same price just to goto FAST also.....with a few more options for forced and NOS also that other I do not think has. I thought around a grand I would do the conversion to LSx but I dont want to mess with building a wireloom either. For the neat freak I would be on it ...it would take me 2 weeks prob.

But I am slowly figuring this LT1 Edit out though. I ended up upping constant to 54 to get it lean enough for it to bounce between rich and lean for start up. But then when starting it up for first time for the day it was hard starting. So after some pondering I thought of PE by Temp raised it by 5 from -40 to 44 and bam starts how it should now just barely hit the key and bam running.
