Default Change water pump from the top or bottom??

I need time change my water pump out but wanted to get any tips and also which way I need to attack it! Thanks a bunch!

Pretty simple, there are 6 bolts total on the pump. Just be sure to drain coolant out of the radiator first and be sure when you pull the pump off not to get any coolant on the Opti or you will have more problems.

Super simple shouldnt take more than 30 min.

I think when you're stock with all the emmision BS it's a little more than 30 minutes. I recall having to remove the air pump and bracket and you have to get underneath to do it. But that was over 15 years ago.

FYI, try not to get any coolant on the optispark distributor! Stuff rags around it.

Shouldn't be as difficult on a 93 since the AIR pump is located on the frame rail as opposed to 94-97s mounted on the front of the motor.

Yep.... But your right i forget about air/egr I haven't had it in so long. So add another 15 min with taking that junk off.
