New Track Times

The stock TB and manifold will support your current setup for sure.
That cam is a good match to those heads. Assuming Lloyd spec'd it for you?
The car is tuned I'd say?
Do you know what the WOT AFR is?
You should definitely be making power past 6000rpm.
Did you degree the cam when installing?

No I did not degree the cam. I never have, i know I should but i just never have. Car is mail order tuned by Madtuner. I told Lloyd the type of heads I was looking for and he recommended that cam considering I have forged rods with ARP bolts. I don't know the WOT AFR.

I'm wondering if your intake can't keep up with the air demand at the higher RPMs.
I'm assuming you had MadTuner do the tune after the head and cam swap?
I heard good things about him, even though obviously a mail order will never be perfect.
On a side note how are you launching the car? It does seem to bog, need to work on the launch.

I'm revving out to around 4k then not dumping but dropping the clutch hard and the car seems to slip the clutch on it's own as I get going. If I dump the clutch she just spins.
Yes it was retuned for the heads/cam swap.

Have you tried revving and slipping at different RPMs? Obviously thats causing her to bog on you. There will be a perfect RPM and clutch speed that will allow you to take off perfect.
I would look at that intake setup. I think she might be choking you out on the high end.

Well I decided to take a look now. I have basically no options to modify the intake. I would have to cut the hood, which i don't really want to do. :/

power dropping off could be valve float or fueling issues. Was the car dyno tuned? im sure that would tell you alot. Alot of people run beehives, Im personally glad that I cant. My cam eats them im told. Do you know what lift they are good to and open pressure?

.625 I believe they are good too. The open pressure is 367 lbs. It may not be exact data but it's been awhile since I bought them. The car was mail order tuned, not dyno tuned.

So I decided now that the car is away for the winter I can start tinkering again. Looking at a random calculator it says running a 12.4 @ 114 means I'm making around 372 CRANK hp. From what I have seen most ppl with similar setups are right around 400 WHEEL hp... Are my track times significantly slower than another car dyno proven to have 400WHP? The Vette probably weighs 3200-3400 with me in it I would think. (Have not weighed it) What do you guys think? I'd like to have it dyno tuned but no one near me does LTx dyno tuning.... I should have datalogged more but once I started noticing it the season was too far in to mess with the car as I wanted to drive it! haha

You are definitely down on power for what it should be running, or you are running in 4000+ DA. That setup should run 11.5s all day at sea level. That's a big cam for those behives, I would step up to a nice dual spring and start shifting around 6600rpm. I definitely think that is your issue.

What calculator did you use? Don't get caught up on what the calculators say either.
What was the density altitude?

As the two previous guys said don't get hung up on a number. You're doing fine. Do as was recommended earlier in the thread. Some 4.10 gears will help the engine get into the power band quicker and have a good pull in 4th through the traps. I would look into why its laying down above 6k though, maybe your air intake setup or the valve springs are not working out with the cam.
Also as you know M6s are hard to hustle down the track and generally don't ET as well as automatics.

One thing to look at is the spectre filter. I know you're NA, but I LOST 3 psi during the summer by putting a spectre 4" filter on my Vortech! Removed it and my boost was back...
