Default LT1 90k miles - What should I look for?

I found a great deal on a 94 lt1 with harness, pcm and trans. All have 90k and are out of a 94 T/A. Just wondering what i should check to make sure all is good. It is out of the car so I cannot hear it run.

Open the oil cap and see if there is any gunk. Turn the crank to make sure it's not seized and the valvetrain actuates.

Look to see if any rods are hanging out the pan... seriously, look for oil and water leaks on the front of the motor around the opti.

Hopefully there is still oil in the pan. Pop the plug and inspect the oil for bearing material or water in the oil indicating a bad head gasket. Pull the plugs and insert a compression checker and spin the motor over with a battery and jumper cables. write down the compression of the 8 cylinders dry and then squirt oil and check all 8 again checking for a large rise in psi.
