Exhaust gasket fail

Well, turns out when I put my pacesetter LTs on a couple years ago I put the crappy gaskets that came with the LTs on instead of the feltpros I had bought.....whoops.

Gasket blew out when I started it up earlier

So they are good for about 2 years or 20k miles LOL

Was hard to get a new good picture cause the engine was hot.

that just happend to me a few weeks ago! its now blown out in 2 places! mine barely lasted 5k

You guys need the aluminum Percy's exhaust gaskets, they can be had at the big chain auto parts store. They last forever, seal up great.

Earl's pressure master graphite foil gaskets work awesome; they fixed a leak felpros could not on my car.

These were the crappy gaskets that came with the LTs, and they lasted almost 3 years. I'm betting the next set last till the LTs rust out.

I have a set of percy's sitting on my desk for this very reason. Mine lasted about 20 miles before they failed.
