Default finally getting my camaro tuned and dynoed tomorrow

in less than 12 hours i will have my car tuned and dynoed at tpis in mn. im so ******* excited. im just hoping im hitting my hp number i want and it goes smooth. but my goal is 800 rwhp and anything more is a bonus. im pretty sure im going to get the bonus. but i dont know how acurate there dyno is ( its a hub dyno) so i might have to get it dynoed after to see my real numbers. but the cars ready and loaded waiting to leave tomorrow morning

we had two issue. but we got them fix. but by the time we did. we didnt have enough time. we had to start from scratch with the tune and we have about 3 hours left of tunning.

the first issue is my old **** tuner lock the ecu and we had to start from scratch. plus buy a used ecu from tpis. then after he got it it dialed in good enough the 24x crank sensor took a ****. had to wait two hours for the sensor. no stores had it in stock . so i have to go back and finish the tune. he got it really good drivability today. but we didnt even get it into boost. but it put down a wopping shy 400 wrhp at 2500 to 2800 rpm and on no boost

Well problems are common, they always occur when we least expect it!!! 400 to the tire is sweet I suspect you will see the upper 700s under boost hope you get it all mapped out soon.....

its one of those duramax swaps!

Good luck, hopefully all goes well next time. looks like a pretty serious build!

I hate dyno stories, buddy has been to a dyno atleast 5 times for a basic supercharged 4.6 mustang and every time something else goes wrong and breaks.

What exactly happened on dyno day? Is this why you're contemplating selling your wild setup? Just curious FWIW...my first dyno run put down a whopping 241 RWHP due to issues...once some little **** was sorted out it picked up 70 RWHP. Persistence is key to getting it running right.

Ya lets hear what happened?

I was in TPiS's shop a week ago or so. Was that you I met? I was getting my heads back from getting milled and had Clay swap my oil pump pick up tube on to the new pump while I was there. I know you have a purple Camaro, and the guy I met (short reddish hair..forgot the name) had a turbo'd purple 94 Camaro. You were just trying to get it on the trailer when I was leaving...
