Like already said dynos are for tunning. Those pretty good throught that drive train. You should run 9s with ease on the jug. Its time for some track numbers now. Good luck.

You're not doing bad for an unlocked a3. She will surprise you at the track, even NA...

Assuming your suspension gets dialed in you will reach 9s well before you reach the full 300 shot.

You know what I'm going to say...Dynos are great for tuning. Been saying it for years. Remember my old Formula only made 375 rwhp and I think the torque number was like 362...Now both the hp and tq curves were damn near table top flat with tons of area under the curve, but it ran the numbers in my sig and actually last year went over 122 mph with the new owner at the controls.

I do think there's something to be said for having a combo with a lot of attention to the details. Having ports or gaskets that are not dead on are of concern to me. I'm also a big fan of the stock intake in most applications. I regretfully can't remember all your specs of your build, but I know you don't tend to skimp on anything. Just hit the track and see whats what. Your mph will tell you whats going on. Good luck with it and kudos for continuing to carry the LT1 torch!

Good show. If this combo doesn't do it then you need to be stabbed in the eye!

Yup, Of course its nice to see what power you make, but Like when people say lets see your dyno sheet, Hell, I don't even keep mine after I tune my car. Like you say, I use the dyno for tuning..

Thanks everyone.
Im not worried about the dyno #s if it all works on the track. Last time out the car was going low 1.6s with the 355 NA and the suspension was working great until the last pass of the night when I turned on the N20 by then the track was cold and not working. Madman gave me some new shock settings to try, but wants me to try the settings I used on a good track first. As far a suspension components Theres nothing left to buy, just need to get it dialed.

I think if you can hit high 10s on motor you'll be in the 9s with a 200 shot or less as long as it hooks up.

Intake ports being larger than the heads caused airflow issues and it was very noticeable above 5k rpm on the dyno. Also being a single plane it lost power down low for tq well up to 4200 rpm. It was a similar setup to yours and ran conisistent low 11s on motor then with spray it on a 350 shot and hit high 8s.
But i swapped it over for a lt4 ported matched intake to the heads and ran 10.8s on motor and still ran high 8s on spray. Difference was i used a bs3 and ran higher rpm than u. We dyno'd it again with the lt4 intake and it made more power on all levels of rpm.
The 8 sec lt4 intake pass was with us porting the heads larger to more like a le3 or 4.
It probably would have never done it without bigger heads but who knows. Sikora did it.

Ya my ports were way off when I got the intake then we milled it to get it as close as possible. Its not terrible but still not 100%. Think I might take the factory fuel rails and weld on some -8AN fittings and try out my old intake someday. Or I could weld or epoxy the SPs ports then smooth them out to the proper size of the head ports.
Either way I want to see how it runs as is first.

I'm pretty sure you'll go wheels up at the track with your combo. At the minimum low 11's at the track NA.
