Time to start drinkin some bud light to get ready for some redneck engineering My buddy is bringing a drill over to MAKE IT FIT lol. The bolt holes line up just fine....the dowl hole however is about 1mm too small.

it's actually a rebranded PowerBond balancer out of Australia.

Good to know who actually makes it.

Sometimes people don't understand just how few manufacturers there are compared to brands.

Default Update

So I got drunk and my buddy never showed up with the drill; until today, with a little persuasion from the drill We bored out the locator dowl hole a bit; it fits like a glove! I just took it on a 120 mph 6500 rpm test drive to confirm all is well...IT IS! She's as smooth as silk (for a cammed 383 ) all the way to 6500+ so I won't be missing my dyno day tomorrow....they will have it a few days so expect results good or bad later next week.....very exciting!

Oh yea, special thanks to warriorcustoms for his advice. He is right, even though this JEGS unit is $70 CHEAPER than the Chinese Professional Products damper it is obviously of better quality when holding the two in your hand to compare. There's no craptaclar tiny chinese hex bolts that back out holding the POS together....the metal on the JEGS is folded over and welded closed...there's no way this thing is coming apart! It definitely pays to do your research...Oh yea, it's not made by commie bastards with no quality control over materials or labor standards! The Aussie's love their V8's possibly more than us!

After all that trouble, she made it to PCM for less yesterday! Now just a "few days" of waiting until they finish with street and dyno tuning!

Thanks...I was wondering what the tiny "PB" logo meant painted on it. There's no mention of the brand anywhere just "PB" and some part numbers. There is a nice SFI card that it comes with for tech inspection I guess....It says something about thanks for your purchase of a "power race" damper
