Default Throttle cable for Whipple

Almost finished with my whipple blower setup and instead of buying a lokar cable, is there a way I can shorten the factory throttle cable?

Any help is appreciated.

In the other thread I promised pics and will post some up soon. Trying to finish everything up this week. Been a lot of work, but it turned out awesome. I won't tease anymore, but I will post pics soon.

I may have to use a lokar cable, but if I could just use the factory cable that may be easier.

Can't wait to see this! Just about got my vortech setup done, wish I could've waited around for this, but it just gives more options for the future. Props man.

I hear that you can use a cable from an old carbed S10 or something on an LT1 to get a shorter cable for cheap...

Merv had the correct info when I was looking for an alternative to a Lokar cable for my 4150 TB single plane setup.

I decided to just go with a Lokar though for piece of mind, they aren't that expensive when you consider the amount of money some of us already have tied up into our motors.

Looks like this one from spectre may work as well (cheaper than the lokar)

I am building the flange, so I just need the cable itself.

spectre cables you can buy at auto zone. I have used them on my older carb cars
