But if you are competent and accurately diagnose things and install them right a cap and rotor last a LONG time so it really isn't that big a deal.

Plugs and wires are a bitch.

If you want a car with easy wires though get some old Furd car with the 2.3l. Wife had a Topaz when we met and it was easier to change plugs on than some lawnmowers, wires had zero looms they were short and direct enough the cap and plug were all the routing the needed.

check the opti thats whats mine is doing and i also have an oil leak, i think im leaking oil into the opti causing it to run like that. and Yep you have to take off the water pump just to get to the opti, its most likely a weekend job bud. i haven't done mine yet!

And the water pump leaks and drips onto the opti causing the opti to go bad. There's also the venting problem. There's a conversion that allows the distributor to be used from 96 which is when I think GM fixed the problem.

GM "fixed" the venting problem in 94 on the b-bodies and d-body but not till 95 on the f-body and Vette. Converting to that setup would be a lot more difficult than just buying an MSD cap and rotor kit which adds a vent to the unvented setups.
