Gen 1 swap question

Hey guys i need to know from the guys who have done this swap or know alot about this swap.

I have the chance to pick up a UMI K-member for an LT1 for really cheap. And im about to swap in a 400 sbc and need to know if i can make it work?

I know they make a sbc/BBC conversion K-member for our cars but can i make the regular one work without a ton of mods?

yes you can make it work.i had a 94 z28 and used the lt1 kmember and stock lt1 mounts..so no reason why you couldnt use teh umi kmember

did all the holes line up?

what did you have to do to make it work?

everywhere i read it says one side will fit fine and the other side one 2 out of the 3 holes will line up.
