I have hosed down and even pressure washed my LT1s in the car and then drove away from the car wash just fine.

Little dielectric grease on the wiring plug to the opti and on the plug wires does wonders. Just don't blast the hell out of the opti with the hose/sprayer.

Now the OP certainly seems to have screwed up in trying this with the TB exposed like that.

Probably been resolved by now but with those symptoms first thing I would do would be to disconnect the battery and let things dry a few hours, then hook the battery back up and go for a drive.

As someone said any distributor that gets wet inside acts up for a little while till it dries.

Try some WD-40 on all the electrical connections. It will displace all the water. Good Luck.
