Sorry but I cannot figure out this cooling issue.

Putting a manual fan switch in my car b/c the pcm doesn't ever kick on the fans and the A/C is shot. Sitting in traffic in +100* weather, w/ the fans set on low, the temp hovers at about 190 in my car w/ a 180* tstat.

I hear ya. I try to only run my fans in heavy traffic. I know the temps the OP has experienced aren't damaging, but they just seem higher than they need to be for me. I like to think I'm extending the life of components under the hood by keeping the engine temp under 200.
