Hey fellas, I recently bought a 1996 "SS". I wanted to know is there any significants in the red or gray trim on "SS" emblems on the fenders? Mines are trims in gray...
.....Also, Which bolts (exhausts, throttle body, Original or cold air intake?..are the best? Am open for suggestions....Thanks fellas

Exhuast, stainless steel band clamps! cold air intake uses house clamps, throttle bottle I use stainless steel if thats an option. You could go aftermarket ram air setup. K & N, Leigenfelter (spelled that wrong). I believe the intake filter will be the only change could be wrong though. Now if your asking for the best of everything and just not the "bolt?" - exhuast = GMMG, intake = BBK, Aftermarket intake = K & N or slp.

Grey SS trim came stock on every color SS except for Black, which came with Red outlined emblems. There are no other differences. That is really the true story.

Bolt ons? Any air intake is great. With an SS, won't you want to keep the Ram Air?? Honestly, keep that car as close to stock as you possibly can. You'll thank yourself later on.

Congrats on the purchase. Did I mention you should keep it stock?

Mines about 90% stock for the very reason im thinking of the future value. Plus the car goes really good with the minor mods the dont harm stock portion of the car.

I would mod it unless its in perfect condition and all original with almost no miles. If its a DD, enjoy the hell out of it.
