So my brothers transmission is going out, no 2nd, and no O.D. where is a good place to get a replacement? junkyard? pull a part?

And what is needed to do a th350 swap? tq arm relocation, crossmember, converter, what else? this is for future plans btw, for now i just want to help him keep it on the road.

Right now, driveshaft comes to mind.

try searching the want ads if your going used. Might find a wrecked car which you can get more info on the unit then you would at a junkyard/pull a part place. Then again most places around here offer some kind of guarantee, so maybe a junkyard maybe a safe bet.
