Head Removal To make a long story short, whoever had the car before me didnt seat a spark plug fully down and over time the compression on the plug strained the threads in the head and the plug blew out. Can the passenger side head be removed while the motor is still in the car?
With the shorties in the engine bay you should be able to move them out of the way enough to get to the bottom nuts on the head. The heater box may be of some hindrance if it's still in the bay. If it's in the way, jack the engine via 2X4 on bottom of oil pan and remove the pass. motor mount bolt, jack up engine and you'll have all the room in the world.
