So so close. Those 3.23's are killing you... Great day for glory runs at a fast track. My buddy was going 13.7's in his 84 stock z28 in warmer weather there. Take ur time whenever you get a chance.

Nope. Best was a 10.22 at 133, then it broke. Nothing major, it just shut off and wouldn't re-fire. It will cough and sputter but won't run.

I heard a street stock car ran an 11.99 on the last pass!

We didnt race for money but Tony beat me. I beat him to the 60' with a 1.67, but it hooked so hard it actually scared me and I didnt powershift 2nd...and he walked by. Didnt help when I missed 4th. That was his 111 pass, to my 109. He was at 89 at the 1/8th, I was at 82 instead of my typical 87. My best of the day was right off the trailer 8.39 at 109, no powershifting and spinning to a 1.79 60'. Never got a clean pass, either spun, bogged, or missed 4th on all 5 passes. Then bailed at 1:30 to get home to return my Uhaul trailer. Wish I would have stayed if Tony really did hit his 11.

That's the best $35 I've spent in awhile even though I ran a little over a tenth off my best. Ignition is still breaking up. Got to meet a few new and old peoples I haven't see in a few years. Too bad the track would shut down every other run.

Dude it was SO annoying once all those people got there and it kept shutting down, my last 2 runs took 2 hours and my first 3 were in 30 minutes.

Congrats Tony and to Mike V on the new bests!

We also set two new B-body records.
Mike Harris went back to back 10.43's @ 127 NA. 3800 lb.
I went 10.35 @ 128, the quickest a stock bottom LT1 in a B-body has ever gone. 3840 lb.
