Not really certain as to what your question is! Yes the th400 will work if its a chevy bell housing not bop.The stall will work also if the bolt pattern is a match to your flywheel.I had to change from the lt1 flywheel to a 163 tooth iirc to match my converter. As far as the harness I removed all the wires that went to the trans to clean things up.

The cutlass I have has part of the old harness to the headlights etc. Do I use the camaros computer to run the fuel part and maf sensor etc. And will I be able to use the same motor mounts and thank you on the flywheel question I'm wanting.to use all I can on the lt1 side u have to shorten your driveshaft for the th400 and what radiator did u use for

Yeah i kept the original harness just for lights etc,use the camaro harness for the motor and eliminate basically any wire that would go inside the car with the exception of the aldl wires so you can hook up a diagnostic port.I ran an inline aeromotive fuel pump to simplify things. You will now use sbc motor mounts the solid ones from energy suspension worked well for me!Driveshaft will probably need to be shortened.I actually used the radiator out of a impala Ss and the fans to go with, had to modify core support a lil tho!

you have 2 choices.
1 cut the bell off and put a sfi sbc one on.
2 adapter. http://www.jegs.com/i/Trans+Dapt/969/0060/10002/-1
you will need a flex plate and converter for the small pattern.
