Default LT1 intake manifold swap

I need to remove my intake manifold on my '95 Trans Am. Do I have to drain any coolant to remove the manifold or is it dry. I have the TB coolant bypass already installed.

What's the best sealant to use for the end gaskets (bead)?

Thanks ... Larry S.

There's no coolant passages in the intake so you can just take it off. I've had good luck regular black RTV but in GENEROUS amounts on the front and back of the intake. There is a product called THE RIGHT STUFF that works good too.
