Back when I put 20K miles a year on my car and it was cam only I had 2800stall and 3.42s and that was nice, but I was also doing 900mile one way road trips and such with it once a year and several times a year trips that were 250miles each way.
For normal use 3.73s are really nice.
If performance is really your thing 4.10s are fine even for highway use, but I wouldn't go that far if you put a lot of highway time on as it is begining to compromise comfort.

I've had 4:10's, 3:73's, and 3:23's....
The 4:10's were fun but really just to blow the tires off. I also like to get on the highway; so the rpms with these put cruising above 70 a little irritating. Fun but in this economy not so much.
The 3:73's are just about right. With them i actually feel like i have a 1st gear. they do seem that they still are not utilizing the torque of the motor properly.
The 3:23's were fine for cruising about everywhere except for in town driving. not enough gear for fun light to light driving.
3:42's are what i will be putting in the car next. I believe with the stall and these gears the car will use every bit of torque to it advantage but not be so long legged that it stays in the same gear too long.
