Every dyno I have used was an inertia dyno where the rolls just free-wheeled. I am not aware of anyone losing a motor due to incorrect load.

Got ya beat, a customers car had a very healthy LT, with a monster stall, like 4800 or so, layed down 336 RWHP, man he was so pissed, but at the track, it ran 10.90's
