Believe it or not repinning a stock harness isnt that bad at all. I hate wiring with a passion and did mine in an half a day with no issues other then not knowing what to do with the left over pins. If your harness is in decent shape and your on a budget like a lot of us our dont be affraid to tackle the harness yourself. You definetly get what you pay for with Bill's brand new ready to go out of the box plug n play drop in place and be done with it.

like mystic said, Bill has really really nice harness..you get what you pay for..also did my own (looks nothing like Bill's) took about 2 hours to do the first plug, but after that had the other three done in less then a hour, but it sat on my floor for a couple days as I didn't know what to do with some of the wires, was still way easier then I thought.

How much different is repinning a 1993 LT1 Harness? Remember it's speed density and a few other quirks....
Or can you (Bill) make a harness for the '93 just as easy?

you need to repin a stock lt1 harness with the efi 24x DIY wiring kit.

a 93 requires more work which im not sure to which it all entails but im sure Bill would have an answer for you.

Thats the only thing holding me back from 24X is mostly because it's a little different in a '93.

To be honest it cant be all that bad i see more and more guys with 93s going to this swap due the complications tuning 93 chip pcms. I did the swap to mine and will never look back not having to deal ignition issues and making tuning easier to find! Source your swap parts used in the meantime. I did my swap for under a grand and by the time i sold off my msd opti, msd wires, coil icm, pcm, and harness i was around 500 which is about the going rate for a delco opti.

Thats good to hear, maybe i'll start piecing it together here soon because I would love the tuning capabilities for sure.

Cant go wrong my friend.

Try researching the names BiZZatch and James_Montigny they are both 93s and did the swap on the forum. Might be able to find them and get some swap info.

I'm planning on doing a 24x conversion in my 93 this summer, I will either go with BP or I found a few guys on eBay that sell plug and play custom made harnesses. I'm sure it won't be much worse than later model lt1s. I don't want to deal with any of the 20 year old computer crap anymore haha I can't wait
