What are the signs for a bad Opti/cap and rotor What is the signs of the opti going bad, the cap and rotor and plugs and wires? How does the car act and stuff?

cap rotor or wires all generally present as missfire particularly in wet conditions or high load.
MANY an opti has been completely replaced because the average owner believes the internet stupidity about how bad it is when in reality all distributors need periodic cap and rotor replacement. Since it is a bit more expensive and harder to get to they like to neglect it and then "blame the opti" when it fails.
