Yeah I just looked up their policy. Only track rental I've been to was one Lou Gigliotti set up at Texas Motorplex back in the 90's when he was still dabbling (and failing miserably) in LT1 stuff. I wish I'd had a camera that day because they were lining us up single file and the line stretched from the start of the staging lanes back to the 1/8 mile mark of the track.

They probably only prepped one lane to cut costs. That is common.

He actually said it was insurance reasons, but I wouldn't put it past him to blame someone else for being cheap.

Insurance reasons, to cut the cost of insurance... and track prep They do it at zMAX Dragway and other local strips here when the pros are testing.
