Default 18x10.5 Rims?

Will 18x10.5 rims that are NOT deep dish rims fit on the back of a 97 Camaro SS safely?

They will NOT be for racing, only for appearance, and it will have Strange Adjustable Drag Coilovers on the front and rear of the car. When I go to the track I will be using my draglites if I use my slicks, or my 17" ZR1's if I race in a class for street tires.

So, ill this work or no?

They should fit ok, may need a 1/8" spacer and some bfh mods to the frt inner lining area i have a set of c5 zo6 wheels with same spec im running a spacer on the back of my firebird and clear no problem with very little mod but u got make sure u have the cars weight on the axle to install the wheels or ull run into hitting ur bump stop, i cut mine out cause ill be running a differe bump stop so it made the wheel removel easyer

Yep, lots of people have used those wheels with little to no issue. Like mentioned above, some BFHing may be needed and IF you use a spacer, no thicker than 10mm

I am installing the drag coilovers and removing the bump stop, and I will be rolling my fenders before the new paint job right before the rims go on. I am going to TRY it with no spacer just because I don't like them lol, but if it doesnt clear, I will try it with a spacer.

I am gonna keep my 17x9.5 ZR1 Rims and just get them cleaned up, I am gonna have a set of Draglites and Skinnies for the track, and then these will be my street/show rims. I am getting the exterior of the car repainted with a fresh coat of black. The interior is in the middle of a conversion from Charcoal Grey to Ebony Black with all new leather seats and everything. I think the car will look great with the black rims...18x10.5 in the rear, 18x8.5 in the front, and a nice set of Nitto's for ***** and grins haha.
