Default 93' 2-bolt

have a 93' 2 bolt main motor and tore it all down and already threw out the old rods and now looking for new ones i have a choice of 6in or 5.7in.....no clue what i had but i am getting a 383 crank and need to know what length to get before i order anything.... anyone got some insight?

You can use 5.7 or 6" rods for a 383. It really depends on what pistons you use. Heavy n2o users typically go for the 5.7 because of compression height. Before anything check to see if either length is specified by the crank manufacturer.

Seeing as the entire first post just smells of total ignorance.

You do know you really need to buy a forged crank right?

You do know you need to address heads and cam in order to get a good power increase from a stroker as the displacement doesn't add much power but the fact it can support better heads and cam is what can allow it to add power.

My insight would be if you are asking these questions now then you need to STOP the entire project right now and put it off at least a few months while you learn enough to do this vaguely well.
