Default 355vs383

Hi im going to build an new LT1 engine supercharged whit vortech v2 and i want some input from you guys, 383 or 355 pros and cons, maybe the answer is 396? the car Firebird 95, trans Th350 8" turbin and transbrake,rear end 12 bolt whit 4,11 and 9*28 M/T

The stock crank will likely handle whatever you are planning but IMO the answer to this should depend on your budget as much as anything.

With 4.11 gears you can't be aiming for that low an ET unless you have an aftermarket computer too that will let you spin to very high rpm.

Do you have the money to do the topend well and still buy a stroker crank. Good heads are more important than a little extra stroke.

Why spend an extra grand for 5 more cubic inches? Save that money and spend it somewhere else, like forged connecting rods and pistons. Also like 96 said heads are more important then a little more stroke.

Forged rods and pistons with the stock crank will work perfect.
