tuner in pa
i dunno if its cheaper to by tuner cats and learn how to do it or pay some one
id prob rather pay someone..
how hard is to tune a car and how
Your best bet is going with a mail order tune. Try searching around the forum for reviews of the mail order guys. A few notable names that come to mind are PCMforless, madz28, kaltech (out of long island), tunercat, and a few others. I ended up going with MadZ28 but haven't turned the motor yet because the car still has a few other things that need to be done before I fire it up for the first time. He was quick to communicate and I think the PCM was out the car for only a few days.
ya i know i wish there were more local guys around with lt1s

I am on the other end, and I used a place called JD's Performance... they were actually recomended to me by HERTER himself, since he has trained them to tune LTX vehicles...
Of all the tuners I used.... JD's was the best and have so far yeilded the most out of my set up.....
