You are going to have a painful time trying to find local LT1 tuners. They just aren't a popular platform to tune anymore. Most guys will tune an LS1 because they're still around more so than LT1's and some LT1 guys even convert over to the LS1 computer just because it is all around better.
Your best bet is going with a mail order tune. Try searching around the forum for reviews of the mail order guys. A few notable names that come to mind are PCMforless, madz28, kaltech (out of long island), tunercat, and a few others. I ended up going with MadZ28 but haven't turned the motor yet because the car still has a few other things that need to be done before I fire it up for the first time. He was quick to communicate and I think the PCM was out the car for only a few days.

Now I remember....
If you can get HERTER from PCM for Less do it.... he is on your coast of PA...
I am on the other end, and I used a place called JD's Performance... they were actually recomended to me by HERTER himself, since he has trained them to tune LTX vehicles...
Of all the tuners I used.... JD's was the best and have so far yeilded the most out of my set up.....
