Hi folks, I am a old Ford guy with a supercharged open track 05 stang. 430/400
rwhp/tq. My nephew, who is 17, joined the army to get into ROTC for college just bought a 95 Z28 with 100k on it that is not running. He is a bright kid that wants to learn about cars so here is his opurtunity to get his hands dirty. Unfortunately the junkyard he got it from needs the bare bones unibody back after we strip the car. They already junked the title... Dont know why, this car is complete and with a bit of tlc would have made a nice resto project. He has a 94 v6 car that we intend to use the Z28 parts on. Lots of work to strip two cars and put one back together. We already have the front cradle and motor out of the Z and have started to strip the LT1. As I said, I know alot about Brand X but have almost no knowledge about GM stuff. I intend to "search" a bunch but will still need to ask a bunch of questions. Hope to learn a bunch about these cars and motors and wind up with a nice running Z for the kid. GA
