Hard to justify spraying a track with a HURRICANE approaching, lol. We're lucky to have even gotten a single pass in.

Yea they didn't worry about the track prep too much, it looked like it would rain the whole time I was there. I didn't have any issues, but it fell off in the afternoon. I ran faster in the right lane thou.

Thanks or posting this Joelster. Wish I could have been there. I wish they had taken just a little time/space to outline the classes and post the results. I bet alot of people would have been shocked at what our old LT1's run. I also bet that most people have no idea "street stock" is a bolt on only class.

I was in their shed buying a 55 gallon drum of alcohol for my car. They have plenty of VHT drums that they mix with a little alcohol so it applies better. I talked to the guy that put the track prep down, I'll find out what it costs to prep that track out to the 60 ft. I don't care what it costs. If I got to haul my *** out there from NW Arkansas I want to run on a prepped track. They prep it for the bracket racing later on after our event is over.

I can't remember who I talked to at the track about spraying it. I either talked to one of the shootout guys or one of the track personnel. The cost was pretty high, like $1500 or $2k iirc.

If the weather isn't terrible we will want to spray to the 60 might as well.
