Default audio alarm module

Anyone have knowledge of the audio alarm module on 95' fbody's? Its the brown box next to the horn relay and flasher relay. Have 2 wires both black with white stripe not hooked up. Not sure if they are important?

The module just plugs in and has no external wiring that I am aware of. Perhaps the two wires are your VATS wires? Any VATS bypassing done?

No bypass done. I have the dash out and was taking out some wires I dont need to clean it up some. First thing I thought was it might affect my radio working. I traced the 2 black wires with the stripe to the backside of where that plugs in. I cannot find a schematic either with that in it. I almost looks like they was not hooked up all along but wanna make sure before I put it back together.

Yeah, the computer tuning won't have any effect on the lamp. If the VATS module is still there, you can do the resistor bypass to turn it off or just remove the bulb from the dash.

I've not seen a schematic for the module, itself, but AFAIK it is basically just a speaker for the chimes you hear.
