Default Thunder racing

Anyone else had issues with thunder racing. I made an order on dec 5 and still haven't seen it. I've called about ten times and nobody answers so I've left about 10 voicemails and haven't heard anything in response.

Yep, they told me fuel pumps were on back order after I placed my order, called back 3 months later, still on back order. Called a month later, still on back order. So I called racetronix and they said that those pump and there harnesses were not and had not been on back order. I call TR and told them I wanted my money back after finding out they had been lying to me and they said that my pump had been shipped. I didn't see that pump for 3 weeks... There are a ton of stories on here with the same m.o.. Ive heard they are having a hard time paying the bills and using customer money to pay bills and filling orders when they are caught up on bills. Needless to say I will never buy anything from them again...

They were big back in the day of cz28.com along with a few others that went the way of the dodo bird. Wish I could remember the names of those internet websites back from 1998 to the early 2000's.

I ordered 90% of my parts from WS6store. Only reason I don't use Texas speed is because I will have to pay shipping and taxes...

Known problem with them. It's not that hard to spend a minute or 2 browsing the sponsor feedback section before ordering.

Sorry for your problems, as has been stated, it appears they are in some sort of financial distress and quite a few issues like these have been popping up on the board lately.

Between 2001 - 2004 I spent thousands with them and TByrne Motorsports. TByrne retired and now it appears Thunder is going under... Used to shop with TTP, they are long gone. Recently I switched my business to Tick Performance and have had great success. LG Motorsports has moved more towards the Corvette side of things and tend to be expensive but the service and quality has always been terrific as well.

I had a problem with buying lifters through them that were shown as in stock. I think they did call me though saying they were backordered etc. I just canceled the order and got them straight from the manufacturer. Friends have had worse experiences though.

They replaced Internet Race Supply after IRS went under far as the go to F-body parts shop. I spent some money with them because you would get the parts next day even a lot of the GM speed shops here got parts for them. I like ordering from the WS6 store if I need any thing.
