What's wrong with that? Why do you have to be such a snob?

It's been a long time fantasy of mine to have to lean across the car to roll the passenger window up and down. Fumbling with the keys in a florida downpour would also be on the top of my list. Maybe 1 day it can come true.

Well, I like my 1SD. The rarity of it is what sold me on it, but I don't DD it, nor do I drive it in inclement weather, so I don't have rain/snow/sleet/hail issues.....but I can see how that would suck.

Ignore Snobby McSnobberson. I've always been a fan of low/no optioned f-bods.

As far as I'm concerned the less power junk on a car the better. My TA is fairly plain as far as they go but I'd love to ditch the power windows. Stripper LT1 Formula/TAs weren't produced in big numbers are hard to find, especially now that they are getting older.

Make me a youtube video of the 10 minute motor swap. Its a good thing everyone carries spares along with all the tools needed to swap one in their car at all times. I could only imagine if you were driving along with your window down and happen upon a florida rain storm to only realize your motor **** the bed and you get to take a shower the entire drive home. I know I would just roll my window up, even if that means REACHING ALL THE ******* WAY to the passenger door. How lazy are you? Oh gawd, no button to do something I want done! My life is overzzzz!!!!

Reaching across the car at 80mph on the highway must be fun and safe. And Window motors don't go out instantly they start slowly going out. If you wait till it stops working completely it's on you.

But since you get to brag about having a stripper that saves no weight over the power options it must be worth it.

And it's not that hard to take off the door panel then take out 3 bolts out and replace them with 3 bolts.

Why does it matter how hard to find the car is? It's not like these cars are worth more than 3-4k. LT1's have gone the way of 3rd gens, I can't remember the last time I saw a clean non ragged out one on the road.

If someone was actually looking for a stipper Pontiac in good condition you would be in for quite a hunt. There were 810 base (Y82) TAs with a M6 made in '94 and that number includes hardtops and T-tops. Ref: TransAmworld.com
Clapped out 4th gens may have little value but nice rust free, well taken care of ones will see their value go up in the future.

I'd cough up 3 to 4 grand for your 430 rwhp 97 z28. Maybe even throw a few hundred more in to motivate you to sell it.....since that's all you think it's worth.

Whoa! Where are you legally doing 80mph on a highway?!?!?!? And I am amazed that all window motors give you a heads up before they go out! If I had known that, I would have kept them! Did I ever say anything about weight? Or did I say my windows go up and down every single time I use them and I don't have to give a single **** about it. Keep your buttons and your lazy demeanor.
